During the making of a work, dancers sweat behind closed doors, rehearsals are not accessible to the public and they are often surrounded by an air of mystery. Various choreographers will be throwing open their studio doors at the Nederlandse Dansdagen this year. Unpolished diamonds to be considered without lighting, sound and costume. An exquisite chance to see new work in the making and to meet dancers and choreographers. Because you always sit in the front row in the studio.

Mor Shani  - Love-ism
The radical romantic, Mor Shani, investigates what love is and the relationship between intimacy and space.

Project Sally - Child (a)like
Are children childish? Stefan Ernst and Ronald Wintjens investigate what really goes on inside the inner world of a young child with three professional dancers and five young children (4 – 12 years). Children have their say, in movement!

DOX - La Vie C’est Drôle and Power to the People
DOX artistic director Hildegard Draaijer, director Marjan Barlage and permanent choreographer Sassan Saghar Yaghmai allow us to see how DOX works with young people. The DOX performers transform their own personal story into a powerful dance and theatre language which appeals to everyone who is young - or young at heart.
