ND 2010
Dutch dance is as diverse as the world surrounding us and keeps providing us with many different stories, styles, attitudes and viewpoints. The Dutch Dance Festival is the event that brings these oft-contrasting personal perspectives together and presents them side by side at a single event.
It is an enriching and thought-provoking experience for visitors to absorb this wide variety of contributions. At our event, all these dance makers get to show how they look on the wider world and the dance world in particular. In addition to displaying the rich gamut of Dutch dance, our festival program also turns the spotlight on the latest dance developments in the Netherlands. These days, theater goers not only seek entertainment and excitement, but also some peace, quiet and introspection.
