Praise of discomfort
On September 17, the Jeugdtheater Gala took place, a day where creatives, newcomers, experienced makers, and the curious come together, with youth theater at the center of it all. During this afternoon, artistic director and choreographer Wies Bloemen addressed De Staat van de Jeugdpodiumkunsten. Wies Bloemen has put youth dance on the map in the Netherlands and was one of the first choreographers to find success with this audience.
