The theater of the future

On Friday afternoon, the festival program traditionally starts with the Debate of Dutch Dance, which this year focuses on the 'theatre of the future'. The Call to Action, which the Nederlandse Dansdagen submitted to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Council for Culture in February, forms the backbone of numerous conversations that we will have during the festival.

During the debate, we ask five dance artists with an idiosyncratic perspective to share their dreams, visions of the future and inspiring stories with us.
