Distinguished Dreams #2
In the second edition of Distinguished Dreams, in 2015, the Dutch Dance Festival collaborated with Opera Zuid. Three choreographers took on the challenge with three opera singers. Each couple made two short performances, based on classical songs, that were again presented in a pop-up store. The performances were:

Distinguished Dreams #2 was supported by BNG, Via Zuid, Centrum Management Maastricht and SKVR.  

Distinguished Dreams #1
In 2014 the Dutch Dance Festival collaborated with Festival FASHIONCLASH Maastricht in order to initiate exciting new work in which dance and fashion meet. In Distinguished Dreams ten successful young choreographers and fashion designers paired up to make short works that are a blend of dance and fashion – five distinctive performances for today’s audiences, performed by the top dancers of the future. On 16 May 2014, the first presentations were given to a closed audience in the ECI Cultuurfabriek in Roermond. After that they were presented at the FASHIONCLASH Festival (12 - 15 June) and at the Dutch Dance Festival (3 - 5 October) in Maastricht, in a pop-up store. The performances were:

Distinguished Dreams #1 was supported by the BNG Bank and the BNG Cultural Foundation, as part of their anniversary project 'Eternal Youth'. For the project, collaboration was sought with young dancers from the Maastricht Dance Academy and the Dance Preparatory Course at ArEZ, Venlo.
