De Nederlandse Dansdagen is looking for professionals from the cultural sector to join the jury panel of the Innovatieprijs Nederlandse Dansdagen Maastricht. Are you working in the cultural sector? And would you like to use your expertise and knowledge in the field of dance to give promising choreographers a chance to create new and innovative work? Then we are looking for you.
To keep the composition of the jury broad, we are looking for three new jury members; two persons from the adult dance field and one from the youth dance field.
About the Innovatieprijs Nederlandse Dansdagen Maastricht
The Innovatieprijs Nederlandse Dansdagen Maastricht puts current developments and exceptional talent in the spotlight. With the support of the Municipality of Maastricht, this incentive prize provides a sum of € 25,000 to give the winner more clout in producing their ideas. The new work or creative process will be presented for the first time during the following edition of the Nederlandse Dansdagen.
What you will do
After the nomination deadline closes, judges will receive a document listing all valid submissions. From these, three nominees will be selected during an online meeting. The selection will take place online on April 4, 2024. The nominees will be announced in the same month. On June 6, 2024, the nominated creators will pitch their plan for the new work to be created to the jury in Maastricht. The final winners will be announced during de Nederlandse Dansdagen Gala (October 3, 2024). (Dates still subject to change).
The expected time investment is 14 hours.
To serve on the jury, attendance during the online selection and pitches in Maastricht is mandatory
What we offer
For reasons of continuity, jury membership is for a period of 4 years. We would like to receive you during De Nederlandse Dansdagen in Maastricht and reimburse travel and accommodation expenses incurred in Maastricht. The jury membership is unpaid.
