The Battle

The most special battle of Dutch dance not to be missed!

During a dazzling programme in the Danstent, you will see the very best of urban dance. The Open Your Mind Top 12 is an experimental dance battle, where twelve dancers from different backgrounds will show their best improvisation skills. This special edition of the touring international Open Your Mind event is tailor-made for the Nederlandse Dansdagen for lovers of improvisational dance. All styles are welcome in the Danstent, where the judges and audience are seated around the stage, close to the dancers. Each round, dancers drop out until only the best remains and walks away with the grand prize of €1,000. 

The preliminary rounds will take place from 12:00 to 13:30. There is a free entrance to the preliminary rounds.
