Danskerk: Dans Right Now!
On Saturday, October 4, the iconic Sint Janskerk at the Vrijthof square will be transformed into the Danskerk for one day. In this tranquil location, we will create a concentrated, almost magical place where dance can be experienced in its purest form. Without illusion, decor, or theater lighting. As audience, you will be sitting close to the dance floor, right next to the dancers. So close that even the smallest details become visible and you can feel the dancers' humanity and vulnerability under your own skin.
In Dans: Right Now! young makers from Limburg are presented how are both known nationally and internationally.

Bo Jacobs & Zoë Greten - Unveiling Echoes
Unveiling Echoes is a dance duet that explores the concept of human mirrors. A poetic dialogue between two bodies, in which the boundary between self and other becomes blurred. The dance shows how we often struggle with what is reflected back to us. The reflection reveals the dark sides of humanity: our fears, shortcomings, and hidden desires. And yet, accepting what we see (both in ourselves and in others) is the key to deep connection.
Marika Meoli & Patrizio Bucci – The embrace
The Embrace explores the power and intimacy of the embrace. Two bodies remain in constant contact with each other; skin on skin, intertwined limbs, sliding muscles in an endless movement of connectedness. At a time when digital communication and individualism are on the rise, this work focuses on the simplicity and value of physical closeness. The choreography of The Embrace is by Marika Meoli and Joost Vrouenraets.
CLASHLAB
Three creators. Three disciplines. One daring encounter. What happens when a fashion designer, a choreographer, and a musician explore the unknown together? CLASHLAB is a new, groundbreaking residency in which young creators from the worlds of fashion, dance, and music meet in the exciting field of collaboration and artistic experimentation. Not as separate links or in service to each other's work, but as an equal CLASH of disciplines. For seven days, the participants work intensively on a single collaborative work: a performance of approximately 10 minutes in which form research, intuition, and cross-pollination take center stage. Not an end product in the classical sense, but a living work of art that continues to move. Specially developed to travel and resonate within diverse contexts: from festival floors to museum halls.
