The little man

Space can in many ways reflect a limitation of the physical dimension as well as the mental and emotional dimension. The confinement of space can illustrate how we struggle with our inner world or that we are occasionally pigeonholed by others. At the same time, this conscious confinement reflects how humanity seems so big and important in our own perception, when we humans are actually so small. Hence the title The little man. The image of the cage also applies to our minds, how people sometimes lock themselves in their own minds, cut off from themselves, or have a limited perspective of what it means to be human, what the place means in which we exist, and why we are really here.
