Nederlandse Dansdagen 2023
The 26th edition of the Nederlandse Dansdagen was an exceptionally festive edition, with over 15,000 visitors across many stages in the city, at unique locations, and this year also extensively through digital channels.
The programming was guided by the concept of encounter. In an encounter, friendships and social communities are celebrated, but it is also the point where differences come together and multiplicity becomes productive. An encounter is a dialogue in which there is no single truth, but where people collectively shape an image of both the existing and the desired reality. Polyphony therefore ran as a central theme throughout the program.
