About Gwen Langenberg
Gwen Langenberg (1976) graduated as a dancer from the Amsterdam School of the Arts (AHK) in 1998. Since then, she has worked in various disciplines;
She started her internship in Joop van den Ende's musical West side story (1997-1998) and has since gained various work experience as a dancer/performer with a.o.; Suzy Blok, Saskia Bodeke/Peter Greenaway, De Nederlandse Opera, Danstheater Aya and Cecilia Moisio Performingarts.
Since 2011, Gwen has been a regular performer with Jakop Ahlbom Company and played in several performances including Innenschau, Vielfalt and Horror as well as in Swanlake, a collaboration with ICK Amsterdam.
In 2022, there was another chance to work with Cecilia Moisio and she got to show her female power in the production Pink Portal. Subsequently, her masculine side in the challenging role as a father in the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam Foundation's production ‘Pinocchio effect’ in collaboration with MaasTD/ Cecilia Moisio. (2023-2024)
