Klein, klein vogeltje (4+) by Giorgio Costa

Klein, klein vogeltje (4+) by Giorgio Costa (Lloydscompany) is nominated for the Jonge Zwaan meest indrukwekkende jeugddansproductie 2025.

Jury about the nomination

''Klein, klein vogeltje is an imaginative performance in which two brothers go camping with their neighbour Raffie, who dreams of flying like a bird. The dancers strike a good balance between excitement and safety, with the camaraderie between the three boys and the audience playing an important role. The dancers are fantastically attuned to each other and their original and surprising hip-hop moves are fully integrated into the story, such as in the wide variety of flying movements that Raffie tries to make, later helped by the brothers giving him a lift. This beautifully expresses the theme of freedom and daring to dream and fantasise."
