Kalin Morrow

Kalin Morrow is the winner of the Zwaan meest indrukwekkende dansprestatie 2024 for her role in The Previous Owner (Dunja Jocić/Stichting Dunja Jocic).

Jury about the nomination

‘’In this futuristic sci-fi solo, in which a kind of ‘reincarnation 2.0’ proves possible, Kalin Morrow fights an impressive battle against the hostile takeover of her body. She makes known in a purely human, physical fight how she wants to hold on to who she is. Not only does she display her outstanding technique in the process, but her body and movement quality are almost unearthly on top of that. In an elusive but deeply true way, her character makes a superhuman effort to hold on to her identity. She does so with great alienating effect, while at the same time being moving. Kalin Morrow makes this performance.’
