About Tyrone Menig

Tyrone “Tatsu” Menig is a Dutch dancer, actor, teacher, and movement artist. Since graduating from the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) in 2016, he has built a multifaceted career at the intersection of dance, theater, and martial arts tricking. He has appeared in productions such as Narnia, Grimm, Rhythm & Flow, Dorian, Knock-Out, and A Fine Mess by ISH Dance Collective and the Jakop Ahlbom Company. His work is characterized by a distinctive combination of athleticism, musicality, and narrative power, blending technical precision with emotional expression. Inspired by fashion, photography, and Japanese culture, Tyrone approaches movement as a language for self-expression, connection, and storytelling. In addition to his work as a performer, he is the founder of 128 Dance Studios, where he shares his passion for movement with a new generation of dancers.
