CLASHLAB 2026

What happens when a fashion designer, a choreographer, and a musician explore the unknown together?

CLASHLAB is a residency in which creators from the worlds of fashion, dance, and music come together in an intensive artistic experiment. Not as separate disciplines that coexist, but as equal partners who challenge, inspire, and surprise one another.

Over the course of two weeks, they collaborate to develop a performance lasting about ten minutes. The focus is on formal exploration, intuition, and cross-pollination. The result is not a traditional final product, but a living work of art that continues to evolve and can be effortlessly adapted to different settings: from festivals to museums, from stages to public spaces.

In this edition, fashion designer Teun Seuren (NL/Limburg), musician Nader Adabnejad (IRN), and choreographer Daniëlle Huyghe (BE) will shape this process. Three distinctive artists who do not shy away from encountering the unknown, but rather seek it out. With these artists, CLASHLAB takes on a strong international character, while remaining firmly rooted in the region.

Together, they explore what emerges when disciplines collide, blur, and merge. It is precisely in that space that CLASHLAB finds its strength time and time again.
