Nederlandse Dansdagen Gala

Celebratory recognition for the year’s most outstanding choreographers and dance performances

The Dutch Dance Days Gala marks the festive opening of the festival, showcasing choreographers and performances nominated for the country’s most prestigious dance awards. The evening will also feature short solos, duets and excerpts from existing and new works by past award winners, nominees and emerging talents. The evening will be presented by Anna Drijver.

This evening, a promising young choreographer will receive the  Innovatieprijs Nederlandse Dansdagen Maastricht. In addition, the prestigious Swans will be awarded to the most outstanding dance performances of the year. 

After the show, you can keep the party going until the early hours at  Club TWEAK in the Danstent on the Vrijthof.
