Regional meeting: More music in the classroom
Sharing knowledge, experiencing dance, and working together to build a strong dance education system.
How can we work together to ensure that dance education becomes an integral part of the educational system? During the regional meeting of DansopleidersAkkoord, professionals from the fields of education, the cultural sector, and the dance community will come together to exchange knowledge and experiences, connect with one another, and find inspiration.
The regional meeting will focus on connection, knowledge sharing, and inspiration. What is already happening in the region? What opportunities exist for collaboration between schools, dance teachers, cultural institutions, and educational programs? And how can we work together to provide high-quality and accessible dance education for all children and young people? What are the key elements of a shared approach to dance education?
In addition to discussions and knowledge-sharing, there will of course be plenty of opportunities to experience dance. We’ll attend the performance Halve Verhalen by De Stilte and listen to an inspiring talk by science journalist and author Mark Mieras.
The regional meeting is intended for professionals involved in dance and education, such as (subject) teachers, ICC staff, cultural program coordinators, school administrators, dance instructors, and representatives of vocational education programs. Administrators and other stakeholders from the region are also welcome to attend.
