SCALA is the new Saturday evening programme of the Dutch Dance Days: a unique evening where we bring together the best of contemporary Dutch dance on a single stage.

During SCALA, we bring together creators, dancers, and companies on a single stage—those who shape, challenge, and renew the current landscape. From the iconic power of the Dutch National Ballet and NDT to the raw energy of Vlad & Veronika, the inclusive expressiveness of Compagnie Tiuri, and the energetic hip-hop of Let It Happen. On this evening, dance styles, generations, and perspectives take turns on stage, allowing you to enjoy the versatility of Dutch dance.

SCALA brings together highlights from the dance season alongside surprising discoveries. An evening full of craftsmanship, new perspectives and moments that place you right at the heart of Dutch dance. The evening is presented by Redo.

Afterwards, the party continues in the Danstent with Club TWEAK — the place to hit the floor yourself and continue the evening dancing.
