The Toegift
Nederlandse Dansdagen aims to make dance accessible to the widest possible audience. Within this framework, we therefore also frequently collaborate with social and societal partners, and each year we organize the Toegift. In this we ask ticket buyers at the festival if they would like to buy an extra ticket for someone who does not have the financial means or for whom dance is less accessible.
Together with the LEFteam Foundation and Kenniscentrum Empowerment Maastricht, we make sure that your extra ticket goes to good use.
The LEFteam Foundation is dedicated to helping young people between the ages of 14 and 27 who, due to various circumstances, are currently struggling in school or at work. LEFteam offers these young people a place, a safe environment, where their circumstances are taken into account. A place where 'being together' is important, but where we don’t just sit around together. A place where we focus on their talents, on what they CAN do, rather than what they CAN’T do.
The KCEM is a volunteer-run organization with a social mission. Everyone is welcome to drop by for a cup of coffee or tea. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in Maastricht and Heuvelland can participate in society, be self-reliant, and grow. In short, a society for everyone. We achieve this by offering free language courses, as well as social and cultural activities.
