More about Axelle
Axelle (1994), born in Kortrijk (BE), started her dance career at the tender age of three in the local ballet school. At seventeen, Axelle discovers that dance can and should be more. So a year later she was accepted at Codarts, University for the Arts in Rotterdam, and graduated in 2015. After a year of working at Introdans Axelle decides to follow the one-year course Docent Dans at Fontys, University for the Arts in Tilburg. Here she graduated in 2016.
For Axelle, sitting still is not an option. A work week of hers is therefore very diverse. Among other things, she works for SALLY Dance Company Maastricht and CIOS Dance. She also gets to work every week with young dance talents who aspire to a future in dance through teaching at various schools.
Axelle lives together with Wouter in Maastricht with whom she will welcome her first child in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys good food and traveling.
