Dance is in Maastricht’s DNA. It comes alive in the streets, at parties, in stories and within the people. During the Nederlandse Dansdagen, we celebrate this vibrant dance tradition with Danscafe: a place where everyone can join in, meet one another and enjoy the power of dance together.

Inspired by the days when cafés and dance halls were alive with dancing, we invite you to come and move with us. Under the guidance of PRA Muziektheater, you’ll discover just how easy and enjoyable dance can be. With live music, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space to meet one another and move together.

No dance experience is needed. All you need is the desire to join in.

After Danscafé, you can keep dancing with Circles of Dance in the Danstent. During this afternoon, you can join in on various circle dances led by Rutkay Özpinar.
