Sometimes you feel a storm in your tummy when something isn’t fair. You want to scream or stamp your feet! But what happens if you stop for a moment… and count to ten?

This performance helps young children explore what anger feels like in a playful way, and how to calm down. Together with the dancers, they discover that you don’t always have to lose your temper, but can react in other ways too.

Two dancers move, jump, bump into each other and explore together. The children don’t just watch – they join in too! Through funny, relatable and exciting moments, they’re invited to move and feel for themselves. The performance is full of colour, rhythm and clear emotions. The dancers chat with the children before and after the performance, so that everyone feels safe and can share their own story.

KIEK&LOT draw inspiration from themes in everyday life and their own friendship. Reflection on these themes is therefore a recurring theme in their performances: how do we interact with one another, and what effect does that have on the individual?
