With The State of the Dutch Dance - in motion the annual debate at the Nederlandse Dansdagen takes on a new form. Professionals from the dance sector will come together to share insights, ask questions and engage in dialogue. The starting point is The State of Dutch Dance, a journalistic reflection on the past dance season, to be written in 2026 by Annette Embrechts and Mina Etemad. ‘The State – in motion’ invites the sector to contribute new perspectives, bring together different voices and collectively deepen the reflection. An invitation to shape the future of Dutch dance together.
