Dutch dance is as diverse as the world surrounding us and keeps providing us with many different stories, styles, attitudes and viewpoints. Nederlandse Dansdagen is the event that brings these oft-contrasting personal perspectives together and presents them side by side in a single event.
It is an enriching and thought-provoking experience for visitors to absorb this wide variety of contributions. At our event, all these dance makers get to show how they look at the wider world and the dance world in particular. In addition to displaying the rich gamut of Dutch dance, our festival program also turns the spotlight on the latest dance developments in the Netherlands. These days, theatregoers not only seek entertainment and excitement but also some peace, quiet and introspection.
