It’s always special watching dance with other people. Watching dancers. Watching people. Other people. Together. Here. Now.
We, the assembled audience, all watch in our own way, with our own sensations and thoughts, and we each have our own unique experience. But we are not alone. Alongside us, in front of us and behind us are other people who are also watching. In a group of people, we watch other people. We grow still, we concentrate on the other. We immerse ourselves in the other, and thus, in ourselves. If we are lucky, we allow ourselves to be affected. And we do get affected. Each of the productions which we are presenting for the 15th festival is exceptional. They can also be described as refreshing, comforting or disorienting. Programmed in one weekend allowing you a unique opportunity to see several productions in one day. Programmed with one yearning: Come and see this!
