We are living in exciting times and a lot is changing. Everything seems to be in momentum. What was once self-evident is now being questioned and universal truths are faltering.
The Netherlands is home to a unique palette of choreographers and precisely now, in these tumultuous times, Nederlandse Dansdagen wants to reflect that power of diversity in its programming. In just one weekend, the aesthetics and visions of 28 dance artists will complement one another. Each piece of dance is a choreographic embodiment of a personal truth. We would like to invite you to explore and sample the worlds that these dance artists offer you. To appreciate and to enjoy them. The festival offers every opportunity for relaxed encounters between you and the artists. Let yourself be touched by the richness of Dutch dance. Engage with the dance artist through a conversation. Ask questions and inspire the choreographer. Be complicit. Your presence will help determine the future of dance.
