Nederlandse Dansdagen 2022
This festival edition, Nederlandse Dansdagen celebrates her 25th edition and brings dance closer than ever. For the first time, dance is even brought to the heart of Maastricht in a Dance tent at the Vrijthof square and we dance along in the many cafes that Maastricht offers.
In this silver jubilee, we highlight heritage and current affairs and make the future of Dutch dance the main topic of conversation. Along with established companies and masters, we present the new generation of choreographers and dancers who give shape to our dance landscape of the coming years. A festival where you can dwell into dance - live, online and on TV - and where you can also find sharp edges of the dance discipline. Where you can discover new trends, next to known traditions. Where you watch performances that make you think and move and that amuse you. And where you can dance and celebrate with your colleagues and other dance fans on the Vrijthof square. #dansmetmij is our motto.
