Nederlandse Dansdagen 2018
The festival is growing and renewing itself. We’re now celebrating Dutch dance for the first time with a five-day program. The festival is also taking a new direction.
By choosing to co-produce and present new work, we want to offer both established and new makers a renowned platform on which they can present their work to a broad audience. Next to this, this year the festival will also launch some brand-new projects, like BLOEDBANDEN, in collaboration with Leeuwarden - European Capital of Culture 2018 - and the Friesian Dance Days. Club Tweak for the ultimate performance/dance experience in a club. Krisztina de Châtel will be creating an installation for the first time in her career, The Third Space. Above all young talents will also be structurally provided with the Acte de Présence during the Dutch Dance Festival Celebration.
