Nederlandse Dansdagen 2017

The 20th festival is being celebrated with a new corporate design, new élan and more premieres than ever before, building on the strong foundations that have been laid in the previous 20 years. 

This beautiful festival wants to connect dance makers, producers, programmers, venues, audiences and society so that Dutch dance can continue to maintain its position as a vigorous dance world. Makers are encouraged to connect with new audience groups by means of premieres and co-productions but also with impact projects. The festival also wants to make a direct contribution to society by sharing the beauty of dance with socially and economically vulnerable groups. We open the doors of the theatre and enter the public space.
